Our Corporate Values
Cestria Community Housing Association is a not-for-profit organisation that provides reasonably priced accommodation in the Chester le Street District.
Cestria has commissioned BMG Research to conduct a survey among tenants from June to July 2013. All residents will receive a survey form to fill in. If you take part in the survey you could win one of three cash prizes of £100 each.
The Annual Tenants Conference takes place this year on Wednesday 29th May 2013.
One of the topics for discussion this year will be the Government’s welfare reforms, including the so called ‘bedroom tax’ and Universal Credit and how these may have affected you and your family.
The decoration in the main hall of Holyoake Community Centre is starting to look tired.
We arranged to have the main hall redecorated.
Tenants asked if we could continue to run IT Training in partnership with Age UK to help them access all of our services.
We have arranged for further training courses to be run in partnership with Age UK to reduce the number of tenants who feel digitally excluded.
The Communications Working Group said tenants events are sometimes on at the same time, is there any way this could be avoided?
All staff have been requested to update the Tenant Engagement Calendar with any event details. This will be monitored by the Community Engagement Team.
The local Tenant and Resident Associations are finding it difficult to take initiatives forward as they are struggling financially.
We set up a one off grant for Tenant and Resident Associations to apply for in order to support them in taking initiatives forward.
We are actively working on implementing our new developments, details of which can be found by clicking on the image above.
