What we do

As a well funded and ambitious organisation we are looking to have a big impact in the district. We are investing around £80 million pounds in improving and maintaining our homes and estates and providing a better quality of life for our tenants.

The Association is the main provider of affordable rented homes in the Chester-le-Street district. What we do includes:

• We are now part of the Durham Key Options choice based lettings scheme this is a new way in which we will let our properties, giving you more choice about where you want to live.
• Managing our 4,300 homes, collecting rents and making sure all necessary repairs are done;
• Working closely with our tenants and other agencies to make sure we tackle anti social behaviour which can blight our neighbourhoods and estates;
• Improving and modernising our homes and estates;
• Working with the Council and other agencies to regenerate areas in need.
