I am an experienced housing professional who has worked in all aspects of social housing over the last 19 years.
I began my housing career at Newcastle City Council in 1992 as a housing assistant based in Walker, Newcastle. In 1994 I moved to Easington District Council as an Estate Officer. Whilst at Easington District Council I became a Neighbourhood Housing Manager, then an Assistant Area Manager.
When the District of Easington created East Durham Homes, I moved to the new company as firstly the Choice Based Lettings Project Manager (where I successfully introduced the pilot for Durham Key Options) then as Choice Based Lettings Senior Officer.
I left East Durham Homes in 2009 to come to Cestria as General Needs Housing Manager responsible for the General Needs Housing Team and the Choice Based Lettings Team.
