Prior to moving to Cestria in 2008, I was employed by Chester-le-Street District Council predominately involved in preparing tenants for transfer and ensuring there was full consultation on all options. During my years with the Council I worked across various departments; The Careline Service (Community Alarms), Community Safety and the Senior Management Team which gave me the opportunity to increase my knowledge within the Social Housing sector.
I transferred to Cestria as Control Centre Manager within the Cestria Care Service where I worked with a team of dedicated staff responding to emergency calls across the District from vulnerable clients. In 2010, I secured the post of Customer Relationship Manager with strategic responsibility for Customer Services, Community Engagement, Public Relations and Communications a role which I enjoy immensely, albeit keeps me extremely busy!!!
Cestria Community Housing is going from strength to strength and I am proud to be a small part of a dedicated, passionate and committed team living the organisations vision “To be an excellent landlord by being a first rate provider of affordable housing and housing services for the community of Chester le Street with customers at the heart of everything we do”.
