Making The Text Larger
A lot of web pages can be difficult to view because the text is too small to comfortably read.
Fortunately there are many tools available for increasing the text size.
This section shows you how increase the text size on the Cestria website:
At the top of the Cestria website you will see a red horizontal bar. All accessibility features are accessible through this red bar.
Where it says "Text Size" click on the letters "A". By clicking on the larger letter "A" the font size increases throughout the Cestria website.
This section shows you how to increase the text size through your internet browser:
Within Microsoft Internet Explorer click on the "View" menu located at the top of the web browser. If you scroll down to "Text Size" you are given 5 options; "Smallest", "Smaller", "Medium", "Larger" and "Largest". Select a size that is appropriate to yourself.
However some webpages have fixed the size of their text (hard-coded) and as a result these websites will not display the change you have just made. If you would like to use larger text on these sites follow the following steps:
Click on the "Tools" menu, then click on "Internet Options".
At the bottom of the dialog box there will be an appearance section. Click on the button called "Accessibility".
In the Accessibility box click the "Ignore font sizes specified on web page" checkbox to add a tick.
Click the "OK" button to return to the Internet Options box.
All webpages should now display using the text size you specified.
