Brief outline of Anti Social Behaviour Policy

The reviewed Anti-social Behaviour Policy was approved by Cestria’s Performance and Resources Committee in October 2009. The review was carried out in conjunction with tenants who are part of the Anti-social Behaviour Working Group.

Anti-social behaviour is defined as conduct which:

  • Is capable of causing nuisance or annoyance to any person; or
  • Consists of or involves using or threatening to use accommodation owned or managed by Cestria Community Housing Association for an unlawful or immoral purpose: or
  • Occurs on more than one occasion and causes or is likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress to one or more persons not of the same household.

Cestria Community Housing Association is committed to;

  • Promoting a safe and secure environment so that our residents are able to live peacefully in their own communities.
  • Reducing the incidents of anti-social behaviour by putting prevention at the core of tenancy management.
  • Taking action against tenants in breach of their tenancy conditions.
