Cestria Care

Cestria Care provides a community alarm service providing peace of mind for people living in the district of Chester le Street who may feel at risk in their own homes.

It is a 24 hour 365 day monitoring service giving you the freedom to live your life independently knowing that you can obtain assistance when you need it. The service is run by Cestria Care on behalf of the Durham and District Supporting People Partnership.

The service is available to anyone who feels at risk in their own home because of age, disability, isolation, illness or vulnerability. You do not need to be a tenant of Cestria Community Housing; you can be a private tenant or a house owner.

For many the service is available at no cost as it is funded by the Durham and District Supporting People Partnership. We will advise you if you are likely to get your costs paid in full or in part when we visit you.
