Cestria Housing in Your Community

Cestria Community Housing believes that tenants have a major role to play in the decisions that affect lives and communities.

As a tenant of Cestria Community Housing, you know better than anyone what kind of service you are receiving and what you think could be done to improve it.

In addition to good quality homes we want tenants to enjoy good quality estates and a pleasant, peaceful neighbourhood and we are committed to working with tenants and other agencies to achieve this.

We want to make it easy for you to get involved in shaping the services we provide to make sure they meet your needs and the needs of your community.

By getting involved you can:

  • Help us improve services
  • Make you area a better place to live for example by letting us know what environmental improvements you think are needed
  • Help us tackle issues affecting your community such as vandalism, graffiti and anti social behaviour
  • Help create a better community spirit for your area by working with other tenants to help improve your neighbourhood.

How you can get involved

There are lots of ways you can get involved. Some tenants want to get more involved than others so we have a range of opportunities for you.

Possible involvement opportunities include:

  • Letting us know what you think about the service you have received when we send you a satisfaction survey for example after having a repair done;
  • Let us know if you have received particularly good or bad service, or have ideas for how we could improve our services by using our Compliments, Comments and Complaints form;
  • Attending exhibitions that we will put on in your area from time to time and letting us know your views;
  • Reading the Cestria Newsletter and letting us have your suggestions for articles;
  • Going on estate walkabout with your Estate Officer and letting us have your suggestions for improvements;
  • Attending Focus Groups that we set up to let us know your experience of the services we deliver;
  • Joining one of the four regular groups such as, the Tenants Reference Group, Sheltered Tenants Forum or one of our working groups such the Anti Social Behaviour Working Group.
