A New Mutual Exchange Scheme - Free of Charge to Tenants of Cestria

If you have an Assured Tenancy, you can make arrangements with another tenant to swap your home. First of all you must find someone to exchange with. In order to do this Cestria Community Housing Association has signed up to a mutual exchange matching website which you can access free of charge.
You can register at www.homeswapper.co.uk, once your entry on the website has been approved by us you will be able to access information about tenants within Chester-le-Street who wish to exchange properties, as well as details of those wishing to move here from outside the district.
If you do not have access to the internet yourself there are other ways for you to register and access the Homeswapper website;
  • Family or friends
  • Local libraries have internet access available to the public
  • Internet cafes
Homeswapper can send you details of suitable exchange partners via your mobile phone.
