How our contracting partners have performed

The Sekura Group awarded Contractor of the Year 2008-2009

We monitor all of our contractors through Key Performance Indicators and these have been used to assess the Contractor of the Year.

For the period to the end of March 2009 only 2 contractors were eligible for consideration, The Sekura Group and Sunter Limited. The scoring was very tight with the overall scores being 14.00 to Sekura and 13.34 to Sunter.

Performance from 1 April to the 30 September 2009

Customer Satisfaction	We have a target of 95% for tenants being satisfied or very satisfied with the work being carried out by our partnering contractors. The overall satisfaction was 95.2%
Works Completed	Our target for completion of programmed works is 96% All contractors exceeded this during the period
Duration Targets	This is the time it takes the contractor to complete works compared to the time allowed in the programme. Timescales vary dependant on the type of work being done, but overall the timescales were only exceeded by 0.5 days (6651 actual against 6616 target job days)
Employment	Our targets relating to employment are at least 50% of employees should be local and at least 5% should be trainees. All contracts exceed these figures with two contractors employing 100% local people and the lowest percentage of trainees is 6.5%
