Becoming a Shareholder of Cestria Community Housing

Cestria Community Housing is committed to giving every tenant and the local community a say in the management of the Association. A key method you can get involved is by becoming a shareholding member of Cestria Community Housing Association.

Who is eligible to become a member?

Tenants

Tenant Shareholding membership is open to every tenant who has an up to date rent account and is not in breach of their tenancy conditions.

Voluntary Groups, Community Groups and Charitable Bodies

Voluntary and charitable bodies that have an interest in the welfare of Cestria Community Housing's tenants or in the provision of affordable homes in the Chester-le-Street district can apply for membership. The membership would be in the name of the nominated representative.

Private Individuals

Any private individual with a specific interest in the district and the provision of affordable homes can apply.
