Gibside Communal Room
In January 2011, Paul Tinnion was joined by BBC Radio Newcastle presenter and comedian, Sue Sweeney to officially open the Gibside communal room in Chester-le-Street.
Gibside has a very interesting tapestry class run buy local women who are working on a tapestry of Chester-le-Street. The tapestry will be displayed in communal buildings around Chester-le-Street once it is finished.
The Gibside community is delighted with their communal room and its new fixtures and fittings, and they are eager for more people to get involved with existing and or new activities (Gibside timetable).
