Estate Tours - Update

Thank you to the residents who took part in the estate tours which took place in July and August last year.

The tours generated over 2000 actions such as contacting tenants regarding their untidy gardens, removing graffiti and removal of fly tipping. Some of the actions have been forwarded to Durham County Council as it is their responsibility and Cestria will be dealing with those that are our responsibility.

We will be starting our estate tours again in the spring this year. If you would like to view the timetable click here so you can see when we will be in your area. Remember you can just turn up on the day of the tour and you don’t have to do a tour on your estate if you don’t want to.

Cestria have formed an Estates Service Improvement Focus group. This group consists of tenants and officers and its purpose is to look at how we can work together to improve our estates to ensure they are great places to live. The meetings are held quarterly and the next meeting will be on the 12^th January 2012 at 2pm at our Bowes offices.
