Involving tenants

We believe that tenants have a major role to play in decision making. As a tenant you know better than anyone what kind of service you are receiving and what you think could be done to improve it.

Review and Assist Panel (RAP)

The Review and Assist Panel (RAP) is a panel of tenants who examine customer insight data to identify areas where Karbon can improve its services.

As “critical friends” to Karbon, the panel ensures that our relationship with Karbon residents continues to improve. This new approach to tenant scrutiny aims to increase transparency and accountability.

The panel aims to provide a robust assessment of housing services within Karbon Homes, assessing the effectiveness of the organisation’s strategies, policies and procedures, identifying issues, and making recommendations for improvement.

The RAP is supported by Community Engagement Officer (Mary Ormston) and an independent consultant in the evidence gathering stage of their reviews. This new approach ensures tenants have more time to consider information and develop conclusions rather than spending considerable time on evidence gathering alone.
