Julie Clarke, Head of Finance

My career began working in Finance Department at the former Durham City Council. I held various positions there and carried out my training to be an accountant.

In 2005 I moved to the former Chester-le-Street Council where I got my first experiences of working in Social Housing which I found extremely interesting from day 1.

In 2007 I moved to work on the transfer team in preparation for the LSVT transfer to Cestria. This was very rewarding as I had the opportunity to set up new finance systems and establish a new team from scratch.

I enjoy my current role as Head of Finance as being a small Registered Provider,  I get involved in most aspects of the organisation whilst still continuing with progressing in my chosen career
